Yum Moments: Hap Chan

After the fair yesterday, we had dinner at Hap Chan along D. Tuazon in Marikina City. Oh, this is something new as I don't think I have ever featured Chinese before. It has always been burgers and pizza and pasta.

Three of us had Spicy Spareribs Rice Toppings for Php 98. Not bad. T'was a little spicy itself but I wanted more spice so I added their chili sauce. The vinegar dip was a little sweet which added more flavor to it.

Chicken feet. 3 pieces for Php 75. Wasn't happy with it, to be honest. It was a bit "soggy" or overcooked in a sense that the meat separates from the bones on its own which takes the joy out of eating chicken feet or what we fondly call here in the Philippines as "adidas".

Someone ordered Hakaw. He said it's okay for him since he's not too critical when it comes to food. So I guess I'll leave it up to you to decide if their hakaw is good or not. And besides, I'm allergic to seafood so I cannot taste it for you. :P

And someone ordered the Fish Fillet Congee. She said it was a bit salty for her but might be just right for us since she is not fond of salty food.

Overall, it was a nice place to have meals at. It's not overly crowded but you have to wait for 15-20 minutes before your meals get served. A little disappointed with the Chicken Feet but not enough for me to not try their other dishes.

Have you eaten at Hap Chan? :)

Happy Tuesday, super awesome peeps! :p
