For some reason, I encountered my review of the Marionnaud N32 Slanted Blush Brush on a site other than this one. I encountered it here.
And they did not even bother to contact me if they can "use" my review or something. If there is a live person behind that site, please remove that post. You copied every single word except for the picture. I took the time to write that review, not only for someone to use it without my knowledge. If they did contact me, it would've been fine. But that was sneaky and a form of stealing, IMO. If it's just a bot responsible for that, all I can say is "Jeez!".
I took screen shots just in case that post gets removed. At least I have proof.
Is there anyone who has encountered the same thing? :(
It's just annoying.

i know how you feel pammy.. its really annoying that people sometimes dont ask permission before using our pics etc tapos they dont give credits pa =( kakaiinis talaga...
ReplyDeleteSo true, Khymm. We took the time to take those pics and write those reviews not for anyone to just use them without our permission. It's really annoying. It's plagiarism na din, right?
ReplyDeletesorry to hear that Pammy =( i found my reviews on those sites too...
ReplyDeleteHay Chelle. The nerves of those people behind that site. Wondering what can be done about it. It's just so wrong. Sorry to hear that they stole content from your blog too.
ReplyDeletethat's really unprofessional of them..is there a blog police out there?!
ReplyDeleteBibay, I couldn't agree more. Not sure though if there is a blog police but that'd be a nice idea. :P
ReplyDeletei've had people but the first few sentences of my blog in their entry, but if they want to read the whole article, then it links back to my blog, so i don't mind it. however, something like this na word for word talaga, it hasn't happened yet.
ReplyDeleteCrystal, I think that's a little better than copying everything. That post links back to my blog but still... :P
ReplyDeleteGood to hear it hasn't happened to you yet. Hope it won't. :)
go ahead and let them know you are unhappy about it! it's really bad not to let you know! The least they could do is ask for your permission and link them up to the original site!
ReplyDeleteNikki, I already left a comment on their site. I just dunno if they will do something about it or simply ignore it. :P
ReplyDeleteThis is not good. Even if the owner of that blog mentioned your blog's name on the title of the article, and even if they included a link to your blog at the end of the article, it is still a form of stealing because they published your work without your permission. Try reading this sis:

Thanks for sharing that link, Golden. Apparently, they have been doing that for some time now. Karma is digital na. Haha! :P
