In as much as I like Shu Uemura's minimalist packaging, I don't like how flimsy the clear blush compact is. The hinge on my P Pink 30 Glow On just broke on its own and I don't know when and how that happened since it was just inside my makeup box. When I read at the Shu Uemura thread at Girltalk that there are empty compacts being sold at the Shu counter in Duty Free, I had my eyes set on it since then. I like that you can customize whatever's inside it - 4 eyeshadows, 2 eyeshadows and one glow on, or 2 glow ons. In my case, I thought of putting both P Pink 30 and M Pink 30 in that compact because I know they will look pretty together and I will no longer get scared of bringing those blushes with me because of the fear that it might get broken. So it became part of my 2010 Christmas Wishlist. Did I get it?
Of course, I did! Priced at only $8, there is no way I can let this pass. No more worries about bringing Shu blushes with me.
It's a plain shiny black compact which attracts dirt and fingerprints. That's the only thing I don't like about this compact. It has to be wiped clean every now and then.
P Pink 30 (top) and M Pink 30 (bottom) inside the compact. That looks better. I can bring these pretty blushes with me wherever I go. :)
That's one thing off my Christmas Wishlist! :P
Happy Wednesday, super awesome peeps! :)
