EOTD: Gradient Steel

Hello! I've been practicing my false eyelashes application uh, skill (?), as well as applying eye make up so I ended up with this look. I'm kinda enjoying doing EOTDs lately and it's fun coming up with different color combinations - it's like painting. :) Anyway, before I start yakking again, here are the pictures.

I used Maybelline gel liner as base and to somewhat darken the colors. I was thrilled with the result that I forgot to completely blend the colors on my left eye (right on the picture). See? Anyway, I like how it intensified and sort of mystified purple and green a lot. I only used those two shades, can you believe it? Seriously. And I even forgot to highlight the corners of my eyes and my brow bones. :D So I came up with the title Gradient Steel because it resulted to several hues plus they look sorta metallic.

I'm getting fond of falsies (uh oh) though I still haven't gone out wearing some and used another pair from the one I have from KKcenterHK (fourth from the top if you click the link). I glued a part of my right lid together, good thing it was easily removed. :D

I like how it looks on the eye shots but not how it looks on my face shots. It doesn't look that natural, if you ask me.

And half FOTDs, same angle as usual. :)

Products I used:
- Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel
- Paul & Joe Creamy Foundation
- Laura Mercier Secret Concealer
- Kanebo Coffret D'Or Beauty Lasting Pact
- Skinfood Choco Powder Eyebrow Wood Pencil
- ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer
- Maybelline Gel Liner
- Laura Mercier African Violet e/s
- Wet n' Wild Envy e/s
- Pair of falsies
- Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush 10
- Mentholatum Lip Ice Lemon
- Chanel Rouge Allure Comedia
- Kiehl's Lip Balm 1

Have you tried using black gel liner as base for your eyeshadows?

Happy Thursday, everyone. :)

Cheers,
Coming up: Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Relief - I hope!!! I've been putting off this review for EOTDs.

Thanks for the tip, will do that next time I find the falsies to be unnatural looking or too long. :)
